An unbearable image, a mental blow,
my hands stained and mind engraved.
The curse I bear, the scar I show,
that final spiteful gift you gave.
Utter devotion, love uncompromising,
by my side, serenity, nothing to want for.
You had everyone tricked, your halo blinding,
and when fell your mask, made me suffer.
Not enough to simply desert,
dragged through torture, to what end?
Blind to the evil, blind to the hurt,
To you my queen, my every fibre I would lend.
If only I listened, my escape was mapped,
your every plot was pointed out.
But I did not believe, for I was trapped,
I did not believe, for I had no doubt.
The shackles released.

I used to draw a rudimentary comic strip and upload it here. That was years ago.
I always want to start new BIG projects. Start a new comic. Write a space opera. Recreate every single icon on my computer from scratch. I never get very far into something like that. I chase the extrinsic goal rather than enjoying the intrinsic experience.
So, I've decided to tidy my years-old deviant page, and not set myself any goals or projects. Not to spend a week mentally worldbuilding before I draw a single frame, then scrap it out of frustration, but to do whatever comes to mind there and then. After all, if it turns into a big project, I can take what I've learned and refine it.

So, my internet's being a pain in the backside, it's cutting out all over the place. Barely staying online for 5 minutes before a 15 minute black-out. Bastard. So, I went back to drawing (Yes, drawing, not writing, I'm getting to that). I'm scribbling around at an actual comic series called Paladin. It's your bog-standard sci-fi adventure, starships and what-not. Now, the past couple of weeks I've actually been mulling over the science behind it and making sci-fi obey as many real laws of physics as possible. That's been great fun. I don't even say that sarcastically, working out scientific problems is like doing a
Well, figuratively. Allow me to explain.
I'm not a huge fan of celebrity status. The whole concept's rather unsettling to me, the fact that people want to know things about people just because other people know things about them. In times gone by, people were famous for a reason, and it was only that reason the were known for. For example, if someone were a singer, their songs and voice were famous, but no-one gave a donkey's about their personal lives. These are the people who's names will go down in history. Modern celebrity status is a joke, and as soon as people lose interest in the celebrity, they become an average Joe again. We return
With only a few Jimothy comics created so far, I've already evolved and settled upon a so called 'uniform' for the strips. What started as a simple set of dividers became an icon, signature and label, the icon being good old Quack. Jimothy's colour came about from the first delve into Runescape, which inspired a spin-off series focusing on the game. Having decided to keep Jimothy coloured, I figured it'd look more appealing having speech bubble backgrounds to better match their respective speaker, and so changed that too. As these new ideas evolved into the comic, looking back showed some fast-paced evolution in style. While not a negative th
